What this is

Scout Library Ham is an independent study platform for India's Amateur Station Operator Certificate examination.

We are not affiliated with the Department of Telecommunications, the Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing, any Wireless Monitoring Station, or any examination or licensing authority. We do not administer the examination, issue certificates, or influence any part of the official process.

Educational content

Everything here is for education. We work hard on accuracy but do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or current.

Examination rules, syllabus, fees and procedures change. You are responsible for confirming current requirements from official government sources before relying on anything here, and especially before making any payment.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Accounts and paid access are personal. They may not be sold, transferred or shared.

We may restrict or terminate an account that breaches these terms, threatens platform security, or is used unlawfully.

Payment

Paid access is a one-time payment for a fixed period. Nothing renews automatically.

The price, taxes and included features are shown before purchase. Access activates on successful payment confirmation.

Payments are handled by an authorised third-party processor; we do not receive your full card or banking credentials.

Refunds

Request a refund within seven days of purchase and you will receive one. No explanation required.

Email hello@scoutlibrary.in with the account email address and the date of purchase. Approved refunds are normally initiated within two to three business days, though your bank may take longer to credit them.

Once refunded, the related paid access ends. Free features remain available.

Intellectual property

Lessons, questions, explanations, software and design belong to us or our licensors.

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for your own learning.

Do not copy, republish, scrape, resell or redistribute the content — including paid content — without written permission.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt unauthorised access to any account, system or restricted content.

Do not share credentials or let anyone else use your paid access.

Do not use automated tools to scrape or extract content, or attempt to bypass access controls.

Do not interfere with the operation, availability or security of the platform.

No guarantee of results

We provide preparation material. We do not guarantee that you will pass any examination, achieve any score, receive a certificate, or be authorised to operate a station. Outcomes depend on your preparation and on decisions by the relevant authorities.

Our readiness score is an estimate derived from your activity on this platform. It is not a prediction, a promise, or any kind of official assessment.

Availability

We may update, replace or discontinue features, and may change future pricing. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Where practicable we will communicate material changes affecting existing paid access.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
